About Infiniti Retail • Infiniti Retail, a 100-per cent subsidiary of Tata Sons, owns and runs Croma — an upcoming, countrywide chain of multi-brand consumer electronics and durables, in technical and sourcing collaboration with Australian retail major Woolworths. • It offers the country's widest range of products (6000) across multiple categories and brands(180). Offering consumers choices in home entertainment, small appliances, white goods, computers, communication, music, imaging and gaming software, Croma is set to expand all over the country with at least 100 stores by 2011. • With a philosophy of 'We help you buy', Croma aims at providing world class services on a consistent basis through a team of highly qualified and trained staff, and the best products range in India to choose from at great prices.

JoiningFormalities Please make sure that your following documents are in order: • Pre Employment form duly filled in for all columns & signed / dated • 3 recent Passport size color photographs • 1 original + 1 copy of Birth Certificate/Passport/Driver’s License • 1 original + 1 attested copy in respect of Academic education • 1 original + 1 copy of letter of release/ resignation letter duly accepted by the last company • 1 copy of last salary slip • 1 medical fitness certificate from the company doctor • 1 HDFC Account opening form duly filled • 1 Tata Code of Conduct letter duly signed after reading the clauses

ProbationaryPeriod • You will be on probation for 3 months where you will be trained to carry out your daily duties • Your performance will be assessed by your Manager at least 15 days before confirmation • Your employment can be terminated with a 1 week’s notice if you are not up to the mark in: • Work performance • Attendance • Punctuality • Appearance • Behavior • Obeying company policies / procedures • Misconduct • Dishonesty • Any other reason which indicates inability to perform the job role

  9. WorkingHours • Store Timings – 11.00 am to 9.00 pm • Shift Timings • 10:30 am to 8.30 pm • 11:30 am to 9.30 pm • Weekly off between Monday & Friday • Roster will be decided by Department Manager • Attendance : Please sign ‘in & out’ every day or you will miss your salary for that day

Follow the 3 P s • Productivity Relates directly to profit, that affects all of us • Punctuality Late coming affects work, inform your manager at least half an hour before start time to enable alternate arrangements • Presentation  You are the face of the company, personal presentation must be of the highest degree

  11. Grooming Standards • For Male Associates: • Uniform shirt & trousers – clean and ironed. Shirt tucked in, belt to be worn. • Uniform shoes (Black- Oxford Style) clean and polished, Safety shoes for Maintenance & Back dock Team. • Hair to be properly trimmed. • Shaving everyday is mandatory. • Nails to be clean & cut properly. • No flashy bracelet to be worn. • No chewing of gum or smokoing on the floor. • Deodorants to be used to avoid body odour.

For Female Employees: • Uniform Shirt and trousers should be worn which is cleaned and ironed • Uniform shoes (Black Ballet shoes- flat heels) clean and polished • Nails to be clean and trimmed. If nails are painted then use natural colours only. No dark, flashy nail paint and no chipped out nail paints. • Hair to be tied neatly either in a plat, bun or pony tail. • Deodorants to be used to avoid body odour. • No flashy jewellery or long earring to be worn. • No chewing of gum on the floor.

Uniform Policy • You will get 2 pairs of uniforms on joining for 1500/- which will be deducted over 2 months salary (reimbursable after 1 years’ service) • In case of separation or transfer you must return the shirt & Rs.250 will be refunded • You need to take care of your uniforms • If it’s torn or damaged while ‘on duty’ the company will bear the cost of new one • New set will be given once a year in June • If you leave within 6 months of re-issuing uniform the cost will be deducted from Full & Final settlement • Company will not pay for any additional uniform you want

  14. CompensationandBenefits • Associates are paid their salary on the last day of the month. In case the last day of the month happens to be Saturday / Sunday or a public holiday, the salary will be paid a day before. • The company has a facility for direct credit of salary to Associates' bank accounts with Company’s bank • All Associates whose basic salary is less than or equal to Rs.3,500 per month will be entitled to an annual bonus of 8.33% of annual basic salary each year as per the Bonus Act 1965. • All Associates will be entitled to monthly incentives as per the achievement of their monthly targets. • Statutory provisions like PF, ESIC etc. will also be applicable wherever possible.

  15. LeaveEntitlements • PL & NBL is calculated on a monthly pro rata basis • All PL & NBL must be taken before LWP can be granted • PL eligibility is only after confirmation • PL has to be applied for at least 30 days in advance using the Leave Card, has to get approved from Line manager and then sent to HR for processing • Sick leave to be applied for along with Medical Certificate

  16. PerformanceManagement • KRA/Goal Setting: • At the beginning of every financial year, time bound, tangible measures will be decided with the individual Store Manager which will cascade down to their functional reportees. • Associates should be actively involved in identifying their key responsibilities and goals and how these are to be measured and assessed. • Mid-year Review: • Review if mutually agreed set targets are being met & discuss any barriers • Develop Associate Development Plans for improvement, adjust goals if circumstances change • Annual Performance Appraisal: The Appraisal Cycle will follow the financial year i.e. April – March . • Associates will be rated on a scale of 1-5 (1 being substantially below objective and 5 being substantially above objective) • Based on this Appraisal Associates will be eligible for their Annual Performance Increments. • The Performance Appraisal will be done on the Performance Appraisal Form for the Stores.

  17. Acceptable use of E-mail, Internet & Network • Email & Internet usage must be authorized by the Manager and must only be set up by IT. Any use not expressly permitted is prohibited. • PC’s connected to the Company network are not permitted to use dial up connections via modem to access Email. • Any data that is deemed company confidential or privileged information shall not be sent electronically via Internet Access or external email. • Computer network access must be authorized by both an individual’s Manager and nominated signatories and must only be set up by I.T. or authorized personnel. • For security reasons, an individual must not login to multiple terminals unless they are actually using multiple terminals.

  18. Separation • On resignation the notice period will be that as is stipulated in the Associates’ Appointment Letter. • If an associate is resigning, a letter of resignation is necessary. All dues will be paid out once all work has been handed over and the associate has completed all exit formalities- PF, Clearance, Handover & Exit interview form • Termination of employment can be done for : • Theft i.e. stealing, consuming or using company property. • Willful disobedience, insubordination, insolence. • Proven use of illegal substances or under the influence of alcohol while at work. • Fighting, violence, abusive language (including discrimination). • Possession of, trafficking in or use of illicit drugs. • Gross inefficiency. • Neglect of duty, which could be deemed dangerous. • Conviction or a criminal offence • Falsifying Company documents

  19. Abandonment of Employment • An associate shall be considered to have abandoned his employment if he doesn’t show up for work for 3 or more days without intimation. • Appropriate legal action will be taken in such cases which could amount to issue of letter for “Termination of Employment” • Also a legal notice shall be issued to the associate: • If after the final settlement it emerges that the associate owes money to the company • If the associate doesn’t return the Returnable Gate Pass, locker key, badge, uniform shirt etc. in his possession
