Around 2,500 individuals were moved to more secure places in Baramati tehsil after water was discharged from the Nazare dam on the Karha stream close Jejuri, area authorities said. Around 3,000 individuals were taken to more secure places because of the flooding in low-lying territories in Pune city and the region, the police said.
