We have been trading from the same address for over 25 years and we specialize in the manufacture of the high-quality bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen furniture. All our furniture comes ready built-up (or rigid as it is otherwise known) so there are no flat-pack nightmares. We do 10 different color carcasses' to try and help match the door to the carcass which gives the furniture a much better finish. We only use soft-close doors and hinges for that added feel of luxury. All plinths and fillers are vinyl wrapped either MFC or MDF (depends on the range) even if the range is solid wood. All of our units come with soft close hinges and drawers as standard. All of our cabinets are delivered fully assembled, with the doors and drawers fitted. Our carcasses are constructed using a pocket screwing method, which is stronger than the cam and dowel method. The material we use to construct our carcasses is 18mm thick MFC.

21. The majority of our range comes with color-matched carcasses although we cannot offer gloss carcasses, only matt. Our units are built with adjustable shelves. Our units can be any depth from 200mm to 550mm in increments of 50mm. Drawer boxes will be 270mm deep on all units that have a carcass depth of 300 – 495mm deep. Drawer boxes will be 470mm deep on all units where the carcasses are 500 – 550mm deep. The minimum depth of a drawer unit is 300mm deep. All of our mirrored bathroom cabinets come with a mirror on a carcass color-matched backing door. The range simply denotes the carcass color. Multi drawer units on our solid wood ranges can have a longer lead time due to them being made to order. We will always send the unit up with these to follow unless told otherwise. All base units come with a 45mm service void at the back. The only exception to this is 300mm deep drawer stacks and 300mm deep Linen Basket units, which do not have a service void. All wall units come with a 10mm service void at the back. Standard base units are 720mm high, adding a 140mm Plinth and 30mm Worktop takes the total height to 890mm high.

22. Sit-on base units are 575mm high, adding a 140mm Plinth and 30mm Worktop takes the total height to 745mm high. Modular base units are 575mm high, and can be wall hung at any height. Wall units come in either 575mm high or 720mm high. Mid-Height units are 1295mm high, adding a 140mm Plinth and 30mm Worktop takes the total height to 1465mm high. Tall Units are 1825mm high, adding a 140mm Plinth, which takes the total height to 1965mm high. All units come with full adjustment on the hinges and hinge plates, to allow flexibility if the alignment goes off square during fitting. Our furniture is moisture resistant; however, we recommend that any excess water or damp is removed as soon as possible.

23. All carcasses and open units come in a matt finish. We can supply gloss end panels in White, Black, Cream, or Walnut. We do not drill our doors for handles, your doors will be spot marked on the back to suit the handles you have chosen. We do not cut the worktop or units for sanitary ware. Most basins and pans come with templates to help your installer cut the holes. All Shaker solid oak doors have a solid oak frame with a laminate centre panel. Some doors with a frame (Shaker etc) only have the door detail on doors over 240mm. Below this they will be flat. The internal rail for the front/bottom of the WC units may need to be cut out for your soil pipe. All doors, drawers, and fascias are easily removable in order to access your services or to keep them safe during installation. Our fascias are connected on spring or sliding clips and our hinges can be removed by depressing the button at the rear of the hinge arm to release.

24. B A T H R O O M F U R N I T U R E BASIC INSTALLATION GUIDE Important When installing bathroom furniture we would always recommend using a professional, qualified, plumber, or bathroom fitter rather than attempting fitting yourself. We hope to help you wherever we can but accept no liability for any losses, damage, or injury to yourself or your property as a result of following this guide. All units should be attached to the wall securely to support the unit’s maximum load (i.e. cupboard full and basin/cistern full of water), therefore the fixings used must suit the type of wall, e.g. plasterboard, brick, etc.

25. 1) Determine and mark waste outlets if re-sighting. It is often a good idea to check all sanitary items and fittings to gauge this accurately. 2) Fix base units to the wall with appropriate fixings for the wall type. 3) Temporarily fit worktop and mark with sink template (if being installed), then cut to size and affix to units, edging ends if exposed with supplied worktop edging strips. 4) Fit wall units where appropriate. 5) Fit sanitary ware and test. 6) Fit the plinth to the legs, scribing in where necessary.

26. FITTED FLOOR STANDING BASE UNITS Fitted Floor Standing Base Units These units are usually installed with a standard 140mm tall plinth so when setting the unit height this should be considered. Fit the legs into the attached socket on the base of the unit. Level unit in all directions, then using appropriate fixings secure the unit/s in place. Fitting The Plinth & Plinth Returns Each leg has a two-part clip that attaches to the leg. Offer the plinth to the units, when cutting to size, and mark on the reverse where the center of each leg is. Then fit the clip using screws provided (8 x ¾ screws). The front plinth may need to be beveled on the rear at the top, to allow it to sit flush and square next to the unit’s feet. Plinth returns should be attached to the wall with a right-angled bracket.

27. ADJUSTING THE HINGES To remove the door, depress the button at the rear of the hinge on the unit. Door adjustment is done with a cross- head screwdriver (PZ2). Facing the unit, front to back adjustment is done on screw 1, left to right adjustment on screw 2. Vertical adjustment is done on the backplate (screw 3), attached to the unit. Adjusting & Fixing The Drawers If adjustment is needed, on the sides of the drawer’s adjustment for vertical alignment (on a cam adjustment) separate locking screw. One on each side of the drawer. The angle of the drawer front to the front edge of the unit is adjusted on the runners attached to the unit. When doing this it is best to use the oval holes. But when finished, a screw must be fitted in a round hole to lock the position long term. with

28. Horizontal adjustment is done were the draw side meets the drawer front. When satisfied, clip the supplied covers to the adjuster on the side of the drawer. Semi-Recessed Basin Units Having checked the basin will fit in the unit. Use the template from the basin manufacturer & cut the top fascia allowing for the thickness of the worktop you have (it is a common mistake to forget worktop thickness!). Our standard laminate worktops are 30mm thick. Cut the worktop ensuring that the shoulder/lip of the basin touches the front of the fascia. Ensure all cut edges are sealed appropriately. Unit legs are not load-bearing, the unit must be securely attached to the wall. Wall Hung Units The wall units should be fitted using the hanging plates supplied, with appropriate wall fixings for the amount of load applied and wall type. Adjustment is done with a long-handled cross head screwdriver (PZ2) and a spirit level. Vertical adjustment is done on screw 1; front to back tilt is done on screw 2.
