  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! • We welcome you to worship as part of our Every Member Worship weekend! Today’s hymns, readings and prayers emphasize how Christ Jesus has taken care of our greatest need: he’s defeated Satan in our place so we can one day have eternal life. Because God will most certainly take care of our lesser important needs, we can trust in him to provide for us as he leads us through the wilderness of this world to our heavenly home.

  6. Prayer before Worship • Jesus, thank you for crushing Satan so that I can live forever in heaven. Send me your Spirit so I daily thank you and trust in you to provide all that I need in this life. Amen.

  7. OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

  9. Lent 2016 “Ironies of the Passion” THURSDAY at 5:00 & 7:00 PM. Pastor Andrew Schmidt from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mosinee will be our guest officiant Theme “It is better that one man die for the people.” The St. Peter WINGS will host the Lenten supper between services in the basement.

  11. Open Forum to DiscussThe Calls Sunday, February 14th at 9:10 a.m. Review Biblical teaching of the Divine Call and the WELS “Call Process” Pastor Mahnke will welcome feedback and encouragement in his decision considering both Calls he is holding

  12. News at Northland “Together We Shine” Open house is scheduled for Sunday, March 6th, 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The committee is seeking donations of services, hand-crafted items and theme baskets for the silent auctions to be held that day. Silent auction items may be dropped off at the school office any time in February.

  13. Rally Day is on April 9th at St. John, Neillsville. All members of the congregation are encouraged to attend, including women, men and youth. LWMS Spring Rally
