  2. LOCATION • Stankov lies in the valley of the river Radbuza.Stankov is found in southwestern Bohemia midway between Pilsen and Domažlice.It lies at an altitude of 387 m .There are about 3300 people. The parts of Staňkov are these villages: Krchleby, Ohučov ,Vránov.

  3. History • First written texts are from the year 1233. Until 1425 the town and village of Staňkov belonged to the monastery in Chotěšov. • During the Hussite wars the monastery was financially supported by the Emperor Sigismund. • Stankov -the town and Stankov -the village were separated until 1938 .

  4. Buildings In 1938 both villages were legally merged into one town. The post office is here from the yaer 1888. In 1602 received the people in Staňkov the beer´s right. In 1873 began to work a new brewery.

  5. CULTURE • The culture house was built in 1931. Reconstruction was in 1984-1988. • The Library was found in 1905. The library can you found in the Secondary school now. • There are many In various buildings in Staňkov.

  6. HEALTH SERVICE There are practical doctors,dentists,children´s doctor and pharmacy.

  7. SPORTS • The sports include tennis, football, hockey, etc. • We can play in our school,in the Grammer school,in the culture house..
