  1. Philosophy Week 10 Callie

  2. I wondered about what morals were, if they were good, and whether or not morals would make you a happy person. I also wondered if happiness was key to a good life, and what a good life actually is. Initial Wonderings…

  3. Is a moral life a good one? I then refined my wonderings down to…

  4. Yes, a moral life is a good one. • No, a moral life is not a good one. • There are different times in which a moral life is a good one and is not. My hypothesis…

  5. Assumes… That morals are good. Implies… That a moral person would live the best life. Connects to the idea… That we should always act morally correct because then we will live a good life. Connects to the idea… That the most morally correct person is always the happiest. Suggestion 1

  6. Assumes… That morals are not good. Implies… That the person who acts the least morally correct will live the best life. Connects to the idea… That everyone should not act morally correct in order to have a good life. Connects to the idea… That “good” does not necessarily mean correct or morally correct. Suggestion 2

  7. Assumes… That morals are not all good and not all bad. Implies… That you do not have to be morally good all the time in order to live a good life. Connects to the idea… That no one should be all morally good or bad. Connects to the idea… That no one can be all good or bad. Suggestion 3

  8. I reject the idea I accept the idea REJECTING & ACCEPTING LEGEND

  12. I have come to the conclusion that hypothesis #3 (There are different times in which a moral life is a good one and is not) is the most accurate response to my question. This is because it is hard to be all good all the time, and happiness- I believe- is key to a good life. Doing good things makes you happy, and as Ben Sweetland said, “happiness is a journey, not a destination” and going against your morals to do risky stuff that make you happy in that moment. Conclusion :)

  13. About Aristotle and what he said regarding goodness • More about judgment questions • More about morals • More about goodness I learnt…

  14. Even more about morals and goodness! • More about philosophers and their ideas • I would also like to do more assessments, they are fun! :) I would like to learn

  15. Bye for now, Cal Thanks for watching and reading and stuff.
