If you’re staying at any of the ​hotels in North West London​​, go out and witness some of the best memorable musical events. London is the birthplace of great music, with artists like Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, and many others have spent hours working on their music and captivating audiences all over London. From the ​party venues north London​​ to large stages throughout the capital, here’s a list of places to go if you want to listen to the best London music. Royal Albert Hall Throughout the years, the Royal Albert Hall has hosted countless rock-and-roll gigs, classical concerts, musical theater anniversary shows, charity fundraisers, and many others. Union Chapel This place is not only a musical venue, it’s an architectural treasure. The functioning church regularly hosts concerts of various genres. The Union Chapel’s stage has seen the likes of Elton John, Philip Glass, and Beck. The Dublin Castle The Dublin Castle is usually the scene for the British rock scene. It has hosted the concerts of rock-and-roll bands like Arctic Monkeys, Madness, The Vaccines, and The Libertines, among many other rock bands. To go to Dublin Castle, the nearest tube is Northern Line and Camden Town. Koko Koko is the birthplace of musical legends. Opened over a century ago as a theater, Koko hosted musical events and various performance projects, including the recording of the ‘Camden Theatre 1964’ album by the Rolling Stones. Later concerts included those of Madonna and Coldplay. The Roundhouse Formerly used as a train turntable in North London, The Roundhouse now hosts concerts by established singers and bands. Each September, The Roundhouse becomes the setting for the Apple Music Festival, offering audiences free concerts with performances by some of world’s famous singers. Nearest tube is Chalk Farm (Northern Line).

The fusion of audio and visual art is stunning, and is a magnificent showcase of the city’s alternative music scene. The Village Underground Located in Shoreditch, The Village Underground offers a celebration of life and art. The place is also a cultural space for non-profit installations and projects, as well as regular events and gigs. This London area is also known for its upcoming alternative scene. This is one place definitely warrants a visit. Alexandra Palace Alexandra Palace hosts North London’s creative scene. From beer and food festivals, to celebrations of crafts and skating, Alexandra Palace has something to offer you. Some recent musical concerts include those of Slipknot, Panic!
