  4. Binomial Expansion • Using the distributive property many times Example: (x +2)³ =(x +2) (x +2) (x+2) =(x+2) (x² +4x +4) =x³ +6x² +12x +8 Any easier way is to have the binomial expansion follow Pascal’s triangle

  5. Write the binomial expansion on the other side of the triangle

  6. Homework • Page 285 (1-5) all • Workbook Page 25 (2-16) even
