  2. Pre-schools open at different hours. Some open at 7 a.m. while others open at 9 a.m. We open at 7 a.m.! We open at 9 a.m.!

  3. Activites: Educational games Preschoolers play educational games like guessing what’s inside the box. ? ?

  4. Duck Duck Goose! Preschoolers also play action games like duck, duck, goose. To play: children sit in a circle. A child goes around the circle tapping each person’s head, saying, “duck”. But, if the child taps on a person’s head and says, “goose!”, that person must stand up and chase the child around the circle. If the child is able to sit down in the person’s spot without being tagged by that person, that person must now walk around the circle saying, “duck” while tapping each person’s head. But, if the person tags the child before the child sits down in that person’s spot, the child must recommence.

  5. Arts and Crafts Preschoolers draw, color, and make simple crafts.

  6. Story Time Preschoolers gather around and look at simple books. A teacher will also read a simple book to them.

  7. Songs and music Preschools learn fun songs and play instruments.

  8. Snack time! Preschoolers get a 15 to 30 minute snack break before lunch provided by the school. This typically consists of juice, some cookies, and/or fruit.

  9. Lunch time! Lunch time is typically from noon to 1 p.m. Some preschools provide lunch. Some preschools ask that you bring your lunch to school. A typical preschool lunch consists of a sandwich, fruit, chips, and a dessert.

  10. Pre-schools close at different hours. Some close at 2 p.m. and others close at 6 p.m. Some children go home at noon. Some children go to pre-school 5 days, some go on Tuesday/Thursday, and some go Monday/Wednesday/Friday. It depends on the parents’ schedules. We close at 2 p.m.! We close at 6 p.m.!
