  2. Fiscal Agent vs. LEA: What’s the difference? Fiscal Agent (Fiscal Agency): LEA (Local Educational Agency): “School Corporation” the agency that manages the funding for the Part B grant. The Fiscal Agency must be a district or a cooperative. The Fiscal Agent CANNOT be a human or a robot.

  3. FY 2011 Grants • September 30, 2012 • Last day to encumber funds/submit modifications • October 30, 2012 • Final Reports due! • Final Reports on Learning Connection in “FY 2011 Part B Grant Templates” folder (new format this year) • Submit to partbgrants@doe.in.gov

  4. FY 2011 Grants • December 15, 2012 • LAST DAY FOR REIMBURSEMENT!

  5. FY 2012 Grants • September 30, 2013 • Last day to encumber funds/submit modifications • October 30, 2013 • Final Reports due! • December 15, 2013 • Last day for reimbursement!!

  6. FY 2012 Grants • Modifications: • Use template on Learning Connection in “FY 2012 Part B Information & Grant Templates” folder • Cover page and grant number should be included to avoid delays • Submit to partbgrants@doe.in.gov

  7. FY 2012 Grants • Reimbursement: • Use template on Learning Connection in “FY 2012 Part B Information & Grant Templates” folder • Include copy of last approved modification email (if applicable) • Submit to specialedpartb@doe.in.gov
