Renewable Energy Credits • Green Energy Credits • 300,000 MWh, approximately 30% of COPA usage, at $2.045 each credit per MWh • 90% from biomass* sources • 10% from wind sources • Increase Utilization by: • 10% or 400,000 MWh in June 2009 • Additional 10 % or 500,000 MWh in June 2010 • Equals 50% renewable energy usage across PA * Biomass, as a renewable energy source, refers to living and recently dead biological material that can be used as fuel or for industrial production
