  3. 1-1. Chatrium Condominium outline

  4. 1-2. Chatrium Condominium KX outline FLOOR 32nd FDC155KXES6 FDC155KXES6 02/02 FDT45KXE6D FDT45KXE6D 02/04 01/01 FDT160KXE6D 02/03 FDT45KXE6D FDT45KXE6D 02/05

  5. 2. History 2.1 Installation and Commissioning Installation date : December 2008 (R&SON Engineering) Commissioning date : July 2009 (R&SON / MJK) 2.2 Claim history 1) System 2 (SL02) 1st Claim: Units run cooling and heating (March 2012): - Customer complained Air conditioner doesn’t cold. Sometime Air conditioner run heating mode. Cycling 3min. 25min. 3min. 25min. 3min.

  6. 2. History Service by MJK and R&SON (Mahajak’s subcontractor): Troubleshooting: 1) Replaced EEV of 4 indoor units. 2) Replaced Inverter PWB. 3) Replaced Control PWB. 4) Replace EEVSC and EEVH (Outdoor unit) 5) Get MentePC and send data to MACO Customer complain: 1. The Air conditioners are still anomaly 2. MJK and R&SON came to repair 10 times, but they couldn’t improve. 3. if not, please change all units.

  7. 3-1. Investigate contents MJK check list

  8. 3-2. Investigate contents MJK MentePC data (Outdoor unit) At 13:23 1) Liquid Flooding Anomaly Counter 2) Compressor stopped 3) Td – DST < 5degC (10 minutes or more continually)

  9. 3-2.-1 Investigate contents 4) COMP stopped 2) EEV full open 6) EEV fixed for heating 1)Sensor Temp. ; too high (not changed) 5) 20S( 4way valve) open 7) At start ; recover from heat 3) Liquid back Anomaly

  10. 3-2-3. Investigate contents MJK MentePC data (Indoor unit) SL03 SL02 SL04 SL05 Heating Mode 0 : Auto, 1 : Dry 2 : Cool, 3 : Fan 4 : Heat ThiR1 – ThiR3 > 5degC

  11. 3-2.-4 Investigate contents Case of Liquid Flooding Anomaly 1) If the discharge overheat sensor (Td-DST) detects 5degC or lower for 10 minutes continually, it takes Compressor stopped <Liquid flooding anomaly>. After 3 minutes delay, the compressor is restarted automatically. And if this anomaly occurs 3 times within 60 minutes, it make the unit anomalous stop (E36-3) 2) EEV indoor full opening continually. Td decreasing

  12. 4-1. estimated cause of Liquid flooding anomaly 4.1 Abnormal cause • Cause of Liquid flooding anomaly. • Over charge R410A. • Liquid black. • EEV indoor anomaly (Full opening). • Thermistor Indoor Heat Exchanger anomaly.

  13. 5-1. MACO Assist 1) MACO go to claim site to assist MJK 2) Check project list 3) Test run and get MentePC data 4) MentePC data analysis and system judgment 5) Claim troubleshooting

  14. 5-2. Project list FLOOR 32nd FDC155KXES6 FDC155KXES6 02/02 FDT45KXE6D FDT45KXE6D 02/04 01/01 FDT160KXE6D 02/03 FDT45KXE6D System#1 Outdoor unit : FDC155KXES6 Indoor units : FDT160KXE6D System#2 Outdoor unit : FDC155KXES6 Indoor units : FDT45KXE6D x 4units FDT45KXE6D 02/05

  15. 5-3. Test run and Get MentePC data MACO MentePC data (Outdoor unit) Td increasing

  16. 5-3. Test run and Get MentePC data MACO MentePC data (Indoor unit) SL04 SL02 SL05 SL03 Turn OFF power

  17. 5-4. Claim Troubleshooting Troubleshooting 1) MACO found Thi-R3 anomaly (Temperature does not changed). 2) Tried insert the connector securely. 3) Replaced new Themistors of indoor heat exchanger. 4) After replace thermistor, unit running normally. 1) Before replaced Thermistors 2) Power OFF 3) Re-insert Connector 4) Power OFF 5) Replaced Thermistors 6) Power OFF 7) After replaced Thermistors 7 1 3 Thermistors temperature > OK 4 6 2 5

  18. 5-4. Claim Troubleshooting

  19. 6. Training for MJK technician staffs This claim; 1. MJK  sold KX units to sub contractor  installation & commissioning by sub-contractor  claim happened  claim call to MJK  MJK service staffs; couldn’t find the true cause and repair ( changed a lot of unnecessary parts and finally will replace the units) 2. main problems 2-1. sub contractor ; less knowledge of KX job (model selection; too large capacity, installation; roughly OK, commissioning; can’t do correctly ) 2-2. MJK service team; can’t judge and find the true cause of this claim, changed unnecessary parts. 2-3. MJK manager and engineer; can’t judge the actual claim job and can’t train to their staffs and sub contractors 3.countermeasure 1) training to MJK --- next week, training to all technicians, but short time, absolutely need the repeated training. But they didn’t have PC computer. 2) training to sub contractors --- let MJK engineer make the training to sub contractors in Thai language. But not sure the training time. 4. the upper comment can apply to the Saraburi KX claim
