  7. “Quiz” Questions 1&2 • Think of a product and list all the industries that “touch” that product. Take that list and find the NAICS code for that industry. Hint: use www.census.gov/eos/www/naics/index.html • Identify a town in which a relative lives and determine what Metropolitan/Micropolitian Area or County do they live in, and then find a map of that Area. Hint: use www.census.gov/econ/census07/www/geography/geography_changes.html

  8. Question 3&4 • Use AFF’s Guided Search to find an Economic Census table for an industry from Question 1 and an area from Question 2. Hint: use factfinder2.census.gov/faces/nav/jsf/pages/index.xhtml • Find an industry sector that has changed between the 2002 and 2007 Census. Hint: use Bridge Report from www.census.gov/econ/census07/www/definitions.html

  9. Q5: Find the 2007 Survey of Business Owners (US Only), use the Modify Table option and filter “All owners of respondent firms” with “Less than high school graduate”. Advanced: Once you have your 63 rows, find the Industry Sector where women have the highest “Number of owners of respondent firms with or without paid employees.” • Q6: Using the 2007 EC table, find out how much money hotels made in the Albany Metropolitan Area. Download the data. Create a Bookmark to share. Advanced: Using a different table, which state has the more guestrooms: Texas or Florida?
