  1. June 23 Game Launch New Retailer Sight Validation Codes – A Reminder Beginning with new instant games launched in January 2007, the PA Lottery and Scientific Games changed the way sight validation numbers appear on instant tickets.  Beginning with these games and for all new games thereafter, letters indicating the prize won, rather than the actual dollar figure, are printed within the ticket’s Play Area.  For example, a $2 prize will have the individual letters “T,” “W,” and “O” scattered throughout the actual Play Area; a $50 prize will have the letters “F,” “T,” and “Y” scattered throughout the actual Play Area, etc.  Tickets that are not winners will have three random letters scattered throughout the Play Area. This new system is an upgrade to instant ticket security measures and will provide a more secure product to you and your customers. These codes are also posted on the PA Lottery Web site at www.palottery.com. * PAID IN 25 YEARLY INSTALLMENTS A combination of three of the letters B – J – K – P – Q – Z will appear on non-winning tickets
