What is RIRS Surgery? • RIRS is a minimally invasive procedure to remove the stones from the kidneys, during the surgery, a type of viewing tube known as a fibre optic endoscope is passed through the kidney. • The best aspect about the RIRS surgery is that there is no need for an incision, and the patient is given general anaesthesia. • It is performed by the urologist to ensure the best possible care to the affected patients.
