Emergency Power Value (2) • Steady state consumption is 1.4 MW • Emergency supply system as designed and costed allows for 5 to 10 MW • Inrush current for users requires a factor of 2 to 3 • We suggest to state 3.8 MW in EMER column of power table • hence an overall total of 229.7 MW • However main cost driver is distance rather than power GDE Meeting, Beijing, 4-7 February 2007
