  • Last year in 5 months our students read an average of 24 books each (almost 5 books a month!)
  • The least read by any one student was six; the most read was 102!!
  • All but 3 students met the goal of 20 books!

  • Students will have homework each night Monday through Thursday.
  • Homework should not take more than 20 minutes each night.

  • Group tutoring will be held Tuesdays from 3:15 to 4:15pm.
  • We will be reviewing skills currently being used in class.
  • Students need to be picked up promptly at 4:15pm at the turn around between the MS and Elem buildings.

Career Shadowing for 2011-2012

Wednesday, November 2nd

Students shadow a responsible adult that works outside of his/her home.

Students report to the job site that day, not the school.

Transportation is up to the student/parent.

Start looking now. Students will be expected to know who they are shadowing by late October.
