  2. Materials • 4 types of toilet paper • Fork • Tin pan • Graduated cylinder (water measurer) • Pipette • Stop watch (if you need it) • Weights • Measuring stick • Penny

  3. What are 5 things that you think are important in a toilet paper? • What are 3 things you could test that would determine whether the toilet paper is good or not? • With your group decide on the 3 things you will test.

  4. When you get to your station do these things • Assign someone to get toilet paper samples. You may get up to 3 squares of each kind of toilet paper. If you need more later the same person must get the additional samples. • Write down your hypothesis. Look at the squares and write down an order for best to worst. Explain why you think it will be that order

  5. Agree on your experiments to do and do them for each sample. Write down the data and write down observations. (In this lab observations will probably be more important so take good observations) • Write your conclusion and why your hypothesis was correct or not. • Clean up your lab area and get it checked off by Mr. Hawkley • Share your data with the class.
