  2. 1 In the harvest season let us tribute bring, golden grain and fruitage to our Lord and King. He, the sower, soweth seeds of truth and love; they shall have fruition in the world above.

  4. 2 Earth through all her changes governed, Lord, by thee, shows thy circling wisdom, thy blest unity; thee proclaims Creator, thee of life the source – goodness, truth perennial, through each season’s course.

  6. 3 Lord, may we, thy children, in thy footsteps tread, find in thee our refuge, thee our living bread. Come, then bounteous giver, willing souls to feed; measure not our merit, measure but our need.

  8. 4 While we deck the temple with the clustering vine, may we read the symbol of thy truth divine; while around thine altar waves the golden corn, give us, Lord, affections ripe for heaven’s glad morn.
