  3. Ebbing of the Tide • 1995-2000, 700,000 returners • 2005-2010, 1.4 Million returners • In 2000, 1.6 Million immigration attempts were foiled • In 2011, 286,000 were foiled • Lowest in 20 years

Back and Forth • 40 years ago, there were more immigrants Canada, Germany and Italy • In 2000, illegal Mexican immigration reached its peak with 750,000 • The economy in US is descending, which means more illegals are returning to their homeland • 6 out of 10 would go back to mexico, if given the chance

  5. Illegal Immigration Problems • 21,000 border patrol agents nationwide, biggest gov’t agency • Now Arizona dessert is prime crossing point; A 72 hour trek • Gangs are exploiting immigrants, causing mass killings
