  4. Bureau of School & District Improvement • Partner Districts • Leadership & Learning Center Consultant Support • Districts are offered a prescribed number of days for on-site support for the District Data Team • Topics are flexible, but generally tied to the CALI modules

Bureau of School & District Improvement • Partner and Supported Districts • CALI Professional Development Modules at No Cost • Making Standards Work • Data-driven Decision-making / Data Teams • Effective Teaching Strategies • School Climate • Common Formative Assessments *These same modules can be provided to other Connecticut public school districts at a cost.

Bureau of School & District Improvement • Partner and Supported Districts • Demonstration Schools • Districts choose two Title 1 schools that have strong leadership and are poised for success • Executive Coach: resource to the principal • Data Team Facilitator • Funding to facilitate implementation of improvement efforts

  7. Bureau of School & District Improvement • All Districts • School Improvement Planning • Consultation on the creation and monitoring of effective school improvement plans

Bureau of Accountability, Compliance & Monitoring • Partner School Districts • Periodic District Data Reviews • Twice-per-year analysis and dissemination of Results Indicators on District Improvement Plan • Disaggregated measures of student learning • Measurement of adult action in fidelity of implementation

Bureau of Accountability, Compliance & Monitoring • Supported Districts • DSAC Interview • An on-line tool to aid school districts in self-analysis • Thorough research-based library of proven practices • Balanced Scorecard • Import results from DSAC Interview • Generates the core of a measureable district improvement plan *Required part of Corrective Action for Supported Districts; optional for other Connecticut public school districts.
