  2. Purpose • Redesign and reorganize an existing website www.healthyfoodforpets.com • The current website: Badly organized Functionality problems Inconsistent in design Contains dead links Complicated structure Confusing the end user

Main Features of the existing website • The website is owned by one of the many distributors of the Flint River Ranch company's. • Their main goal is to provide the customer/visitor with as much information as possible about FRR products, and to promote and sell the products of the company. • They try to publicize all the feedback they get from their customers. • Provide detailed information about the ingredients to let people know the reasons why the FRR pet food is so good! • Provide helpful and interesting articles about pet health.

  4. Redesign Procedure Phase 1 • Research similar existing websites from other FRR distributors to get the feeling of what they are trying to do. • Research the actual Flint River Ranch website to get to know the origin, the goals and the future plans of the company.

  5. Redesign Procedure Phase 2 • Target audience In order to focus on Customer Centered Design its important to know who are the target customers and understand their needs. Understand: 1. Customers/ Users 2. Their tasks 3. The technology available to them

  8. Redesign Procedure Phase 5: Evaluation • Informal Evaluation – 6 People who are representative of the target audience. Use the site and do the tasks. • Use the feedback from their evaluation to improve the website. Phase 6: Launch and Maintenance Deploying the website for actual use. Supporting, maintaining and improving.

Conclusion and Future Improvements • This website is my first attempt in Website Design so it is not professional! • I will try to further improve my website based on your feedback! • Future Improvements: • Link the website with a database and enable the end users to be able to buy the FRR products. • Further improvements on the website appearance and functionality.
