Accreditation History and Timeline • 2000 - Last Accreditation Visit College Placed on Warning Status (Program Review, Environment, Governance) • 2002 - Focus Midterm Report with Recommendations • 2004 - Selection of Self-Study Co-Chairs • 2003-2005 - Accreditation/SLO Workshops and Committee Work

  9. Timeline • January 15th – Final Self-Study Report disseminated • January 24th - Self-Study Team Chair Visit Dr. Thomas Crow, Chancellor of State Community College Center • February 1st – Self-Study mailed to ACCJC • March 23rd-26th - Team Site Visit

  10. Work in Progress • Circulate Self-Study • Complete “Evidence Room” setup in New Student Services Center • Organize/archive all Accreditation history and materials • Finalize team logistics

  11. After Site Visit… • Accreditation efforts will be ongoing • Ensure college programs and activities align with Mission Statement • Integrate planning agenda items into college’s Strategic Plan • Complete SLOs at the Institutional, Program, and Course Levels. • Implement, assess, and make improvements based on the SLOs

  12. Accreditation Results!! • Accreditation Affirmed • A whole bunch of happy people at LASC!!!!!!!!!
