All the habitats around the world have become jumbled up. The cold climate animals and plants are lost and withering away in the rain forest. The desert animals and plants are immobilized in the tundra. You must travel around the world to save the earth’s habitats. Continue onto your task to get your assignment. Resources

You will then research what type of plants and animals live in that biome. You will present your findings using your completed projects . Use the rubric to guide your research. CHOICE of biomes: 1. rain forest 2. deciduous forest 3. coniferous forest 4. desert 5. tundra 6. savannah/grasslands 7. salt water 8. fresh water Resources

You will then select which mode to present your findings. Use the rubric on the evaluation page to guide your research.   5. Select one project • Article: Pretend you are a reporter for a national magazine. Write an article depicting the habitat, animals, and plants. • PowerPoint:Create a slideshow representing your habitat, animals, and plants. • Mural: Design a wall size representation of your habitat, animals, and plants. You may use any medium you like. • Diorama: Construct your own scene illustrating your habitat, animals, and plants. (*A large shoebox is required) • Choice: You may present an alternate project that must be preapproved by the teacher. Click leaf to return to the process page.

The evaluation is based on the research, project, and presentation. You will present projects to the class. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of their biome, the animals, and plants that live their. Use the handout to help with questions to answer. Rubric Resources

You are an expert in your habitat, and can identify plant and animal life that exists there. There are many biomes that thrive near your home and school. Adventure out to visit some of those biomes and discover the new worlds that await you! Resources
