  • To adopt and implement 21st century Teaching and Learning approaches in order to enhance student productivity and ameliorate their linguistic skills.

  • Involving and encouraging student participation and practicing student-centered learning instead of teacher-centered learning.
  • Develop alternatives to enhance pupils creative writing and comprehension skills enabling them to learn and retain rich vocabulary (e.g. through flow chart writing).
  • Maximizing the use of technology, to support development of lessons.
  • Developing proficiency in English, both oral and written.

  • Permission from the Principal.
  • Parents may not approve of the new methods
  • Availability of Computer Lab
  • Availability of subject specialists/ coordinator for feedback .
  • Approval from the Head and Principal after a detailed discussion
  • Conduct a meeting with the parents informing them about the benefits of the new approach. Also mention the negatives and how they can be countered. Take their feedback.
  • integrating the curriculum with the ICT curriculum.
  • Forming a liaison with other English teachers to exchange resources and acquire feedback

Create awareness regarding the curriculum and the newly adopted techniques/approaches.

Create multi intelligence groups/pairs and emphasizing collaboration ,

Successful adoption of 21st Century Learning Approaches.




Focusing on using technology for research and emphasize on the importance of reviewing and sharing.
