  1. Tabernacles By Mason, Dalton, Caleb, and Henry

  2. Introduction The Feast of Tabernacles is also known as Booths. This is Israel's Thanksgiving feast were they show their thankfulness to God for his provision to them. It is where they gather all of the fruit in the land and celebrate. It occurs on the fifteenth of Tishri which is the seventh month according to the Jewish calendar. This was the third feast that required a pilgrimage to Jerusalem to worship in the temple. Sacrifices and offerings were made to the Lord.

  3. Biblical Basis Sukkoth the Holiday of praise. It was first introduced in Exodus 25 when God told People to make the Ark of the Covenant. in Exodus 25 and 26 it says that the Tabernacle is the place where the Ark was held. In chapter 25 it says the what would be in the Tabernacle and in 26 it says how the Tabernacle would be made. During the feast they say a prayer to God in the different areas. In the place of the golden candle stick. "Dear Holy Spirit, I recognize You. I welcome You. I adore You. Thank You for being in my life. You are my Senior Partner. You are the Spirit of God, and the Spirit of Jesus Christ. You are the Spirit of wisdom. You are the Spirit of understanding. You are the Spirit of counsel. You are the Spirit of power. You are the Spirit of the revelation of the Word of God. You are the Spirit of reverence which gives me the power to reveal God. So help me now. I cannot do anything without Your anointing. I depend upon You. I worship You. I thank You," in the table of the Shewbred.

  4. When the feast is held. The feast is held on the 15th day of the 7th month. This year it was at sunset on September 22 to sunset September. 29-30. Most of them time though, the people eat hasty meals outside their makeshift home, so that they can get back to the festivities. The people will have lots of varieties of food, from meats to vegetables. They drink water and wine after its been poured on the alter.

I thank You, " in the incense altar."I really appreciate You. You delivered me from sin. You delivered me from worldliness. You delivered me from sickness. You delivered me from the curse. You delivered me from death. You are the God who is the foundation of my life. You are the purpose of my life. You are the value of my life. I worship You, the God who created the heaven and the earth and all things in them. I worship You. I thank You," and finally in the room of the ark of the covenant.“I am eternally forgiven. I am eternally declared righteous. I am eternally saved. I am eternally blessed by His blood covenant. I thank You, dear Heavenly Father. I am now a member of Your Family. I am Your child and I joy in the triune God. I am living in the Holy of Holies. Father, now I have many requests. I want You to hear them and help me. ”

  6. How Christ is pictured The ritual of filing the vessels with water and then wine and pouring them together into the basin is a picture of the coming of a Messiah. It symbolizes His kingdom where the Holy Spirit is poured on Israel and believers of all nations. The ritual of water pouring is continued for six days until the end of the feast of tabernacles. The last day is called the "Day of the Great Hosanna". The word Hashanah means to save now and is a picture of the Israelites looking forward to the coming of the Messiah.
