  2. Why do I think it is so important? • I think that learning how to add and subtract with decimals is important because it gives you a more precise answer. It is exact.

  3. Examples • Addition 34.3 34 + 16.8 + 17 51 51 • I rounded 34.3 and that stayed as 34 because 3 is lower than 5. Then I rounded 16.8 and that became 17 because 8 is higher than 5.That is how I got my answer. • Subtraction 15.7 16 - 9.4 - 9 7 7 I rounded 15.7 up to 16 because 7 is higher than 5 .Then I rounded 9.4 to 9 because 4 is lower than 5. That is how I got my answer.

  4. My wonders… • I wonder how to multiply decimals ? • I think that you probably still have to round but then multiply the numbers. I think that because you probably would just use the same method[which is rounding] but different symbols. • I wonder how to divide decimals? • You probably still have to round but then divide the numbers. I think that because you would probably use the same method[which is rounding the numbers] but with different symbols.
