  14. OUR HISTORYFour generations of innovative winemakers • Towards the end of the 19th century our founder, Remigio Medici, established a wine cellar to produce Lambrusco. It is the oldest wine producing company in the province of Reggio Emilia. • His son Ermete was responsible for marketing and expanding the Medici Ermete brand. • Today Ermete’s sons, Valter and Giorgio, along with the fourth generation, continue the wine making passion of Remigio and Ermete.
