    3. The SCNF Established in 1974 as a nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax deductible Mission: to promote high standards of healthcare by facilitating the advancement of nursing through awards, grants and scholarships

    4. The SCNF Governed by an all volunteer Board of Trustees 98% of the budget is committed to the advancement of nursing through research awards and scholarships Manages funds from the Nurses Care license plate initiative which supports scholarships

    5. The SCNF Oversees the Palmetto Gold Award for Excellence in Nursing Since 2002, the Palmetto Gold Gala has recognized over 700 nurses and awarded over 180 scholarships in SC

    6. Be a part of the walk! HOW??? Corporate Sponsorship Form a team Volunteer yourself to help plan for the walk Volunteer yourself or your organization to help the day of the walk
