    5. While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David. Matthew 22:41, 42

    14. And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Luke 18:35-38

    30. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. Luke 19:9

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:1-3

    33. Jesus said of Zacchaeus that he, too, was a “son of Abraham” Jesus was the ultimate fulfillment of the promise made to and through Abraham The One to fulfill those promises had to be a descendant of Abraham

    34. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13, 14

    35. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Galatians 3:16

    36. JESUS- Son of Adam

    37. And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God. Luke 3:23, 38

    38. Through His mother Mary, Jesus was connected with all humanity as He was “made of a woman”

    39. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Galatians 4:4

    40. Through His mother Mary, Jesus was connected with all humanity as He was “made of a woman” As a descendant of man He was susceptible to the temptations of humanity

    41. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15

    43. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. I Corinthians 15:22 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. I Corinthians 15:45

    44. JESUS- Son of Joseph

    45. Naturally, all assumed Him to be the natural child of Joseph

    46. And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, Luke 3:23

    47. Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? Matthew 13:55

    48. And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son? Luke 4:22

    49. Naturally, all assumed Him to be the natural child of Joseph He was the adopted (legal) son of Joseph, as we are to God

    50. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Romans 8:14, 15
