  2. Abraham, Gén. 14:20, dio diezmos de los despojos de la batalla; Gén. 28:20, Jacob, “de todo lo que me dieres, el diezmo apartaré para ti”. • Abraham, Gen. 14:20, gave tithes of spoils of battle; Gen. 28:20, Jacob, “of all that You give me, I will give a tenth to You”.

  22. Es un privilegio depositar en el banco del cielo. 2 Cor. 8:7; Fil. 4:17 Pablo no quería empobrecer a los macedonios. Quería enriquecerles. • It is a privilege to deposit in the bank of heaven. 2 Cor. 8:7; Phil. 4:17. Paul did not want to impover-ish the Macedonians. He wanted to make them richer.

  23. Ofrendaban con sacrificio, pero también con gozo, 2 Cor. 8:2; 2 Cor. 9:7. Ex. 36:5-7; 1 Crón. 29:9; Neh. 12:43. • They gave with sacrifice, but also with joy, 2 Cor. 8:2; 2 Cor. 9:7; Ex. 36:5-7; 1 Chron. 29:9; Neh. 12:43.

  24. 2 Cor. 8:5, El “secreto de su éxito” -- primeramente se dieron a sí mismos al Señor. ¡Entonces ofren-dar generosamente es fácil! • 2 Cor. 8:5, The “secret of their success” – first they gave them-selves to the Lord. Then giving generously is easy!

  25. Proponer a ofrendar según Dios nos haya prosperado, 1 Cor. 16:2; 2 Cor. 9:7. No sobrantes, Mar 12:44 Ofrenda PRIMERO, luego nosotros • Purpose to contribute as God has prospered us, 1 Cor. 16:2; 2 Cor. 9:7. Not left-overs, Mk. 12:44. Con-tribution FIRST, then for us.

  26. De esta manera mostramos nuestro “amor” hacia Dios, 2 Cor. 8:24. “Oh cuánto amo a Cristo”. Ofrecemos cojos, ciegos al Señor? • In this way we show our “love” for God. 2 Cor. 8:24. “Oh how I love Jesus”. Do we offer the lame and the blind to the Lord?

  27. Dios quiere que ofrendemos generosamente para que nos pueda bendecir, 2 Cor. 9:8-10; Mal. 3:8-10; limitamos las bendiciones. • God wants us to give generously so that He can bless us, 2 Cor. 9:8-10; Mal. 3:8-10; we limit His bless-ings upon us.
