  1. Authors (if more than one), Presenter Title Period covered by this report North Carolina State UniversityWireless Ad Hoc and Local Area Networks

  2. Outline • Tasks accomplished. • Tasks underway. • Other. • Plans for next week.

  3. Tasks accomplished. • Rebuilt the circuit as per our discussion last week. Shifted the circuit to a bigger bread-board, since there were in all 7 ICs. • Completed the software routine. Did simulations in AVR Studio to ensure that the duration of the line-display was close to 52.5 usec.

  4. Tasks underway • To get the software running using the uC /circuit. Issues: On downloading the software to the STK, the expected pattern did not show up on the TV. Possible Causes: Incorrect circuit connections? ( 7 ICs!!) Incorrect Software? Is the timing diagram correct?

  5. Other • Now completely moved over to EGRC lab, really a good quiet environment with all the required facilities. • Laptop has all the required software, Wireless card should arrive tomorrow.

  6. Plans for next week. • Get the hardware and software to work together. Test on the TV. • Look into optimizing the Asteroids game/Glib. This will lead into the next phase. (Steps: 1. Optimizing Asteroids/Glib, 2. Hand-integrating the threads). • Need to plan-out exactly what is to be achieved for the ISCA paper, and make a timetable for that.
