Grasslands. Sheldon, Austin, Taylor, Nick. Location. There is large area of Grasslands in Ukraine of Russia , all the way to Siberia and lots in Africa. Climate. The temperature in the Grasslands is cool in the winter,hot in the summer and 25 to 75cm(10-30in) of precipatation a year.

  1. Grasslands Sheldon, Austin, Taylor, Nick

  2. Location There is large area of Grasslands in Ukraine of Russia , all the way to Siberia and lots in Africa.

  3. Climate The temperature in the Grasslands is cool in the winter,hot in the summer and 25 to 75cm(10-30in) of precipatation a year.

  4. Plant Life • Mostly grasses and small shrubs, some trees near sources of water,with rich topsoil,and a big savanna called the Black Prairie. There are two different types of grasslands; tall-grass, which are humid and very wet, and short-grass, which are dry, with hotter summers and colder winters than the tall-grass prairie.

  5. Animals • Animals in the Grasslands are American Prairie dogs,foxes,small mammals, snails,insects,various birds,African elephants,lions,zebras,giraffes,wildbeast, and cheetas.

  6. Location Description 1 • Jamaica is a great grassland to go to. You can go bird watching and sit by a fire , paint your face and dance to the Africans religious songs.

  7. Idaho is a great grassland . They grow tons of patatoes there and it is called the land of patatoes. Location Description 2
