Economy. Both candidates promise economic change. Both candidates believe they have the best economic plan. Yet, God alone is in control of this nation’s economic future. It is God who provides and God who takes away (Job 1:21)…. not the government.

  2. Both candidates promise economic change.

  3. Both candidates believe they have the best economic plan.

  4. Yet, God alone is in control of this nation’s economic future.

  5. It is God who provides and God who takes away (Job 1:21)…

  6. not the government.

  7. Jesus says at Matthew 6:19-34 that we are not to worry about our economic future…

  8. if we put our trust in Him.

  9. If instead…

  10. we rely on government or a candidate to save us and our economy…

  11. and we do not call on the name of the Lord…

  12. how long before God removes from us His blessings?

  13. Life or Death?

  14. It is God who forms us in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-18).

  15. It is God who holds the keys to death(Revelation 1:18).

  16. If we elect a leader who promises choice over life…

  17. and who advocates wrestling those keys from the hands of God…

  18. how long before God removes from us His blessings?

  19. Real Heart

  20. The Lord does not see people as we see them.

  21. We may be charmed by flowery speeches…

  22. or impressed by outward appearance…

  23. but the Lord peers straight through to the heart (I Samuel 16:7).

  24. We can glimpse into the heart of a candidate…

  25. by seeing how well he stands up under intense pressure.

  26. That’s when real substance shines through.

  27. If we elect our leader based on charisma over substance…

  28. how long before God removes from us His blessings?

  29. Vote wisely.
