  1. Our celebration of Harvest Festival takes place in our assemblies week beginning 30th September. This is a time to thank God for all the things he has given us and also to think of people less fortunate than ourselves. Once again we will be collecting produce to give to the Scunthorpe Food Bank – a local organisation that provides emergency food parcels to local people in need. Last year you generously gave 359.3kg of food - all of which went to help Scunthorpe people in need. What can I do to help? Over the next couple of weeks, in your tutor groups, collect the items listed on the back of this poster. Put them in a box (or boxes –remember someone has to lift them!) and decorate them in your house colours. Your House Leader will have tissue paper for you to decorate your boxes. Write poems or prayers of thanksgiving to go with your box. During Harvest Week bring your boxes to the hall during your Harvest assembly and lets see if we can create a fantastic display of produce again. Thank you for your support.
