9. CR 25 - CR 26 Circumferential and Lateral Micro-mark Register Control

CR 25 - CR 26 • LED source lights with min. 100.000 hours life time. • Cameras mounted on motorized bars, optics, electronic boards and light sources are designed by Grafikontrol • Electronic boards with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) image processor. • Micro marks are geometric shapes and not dots, not subject to print conditions. They can be placed anywhere. • Image Acquisition: the high speed camera reaches up to 200 images/sec, allowing a reading at every cylinder revolution.

DENSIWEB • Lighting with high brilliance white LED matrix (min 100.000 hours life time). • Closed loop control of both Colour Densities and Chromatic Balance. • Information about dot gain, print contrast, slur, trapping for each key, for best colour analysis. • Reading of two keys simultaneously (twice as fast as closest competitor system) and immediate correction of the density of the two sectors (not at the end of the web scanning). • User friendly. • High waste reduction at every make-ready of new jobs: ~1500 copy waste for a 48 pp press.

WEBSCAN • Continuous paper quality control from roll stand to press delivery. • Quick interpretation to distinguish paper breaks due to the web defect, roll prep or press issues. • PAPERSCAN:1 mm2 defects detection sensitivity for spots, patches, folds, dirt, holes, cuts, breaks, tears and edge-nicks. • PAPERSCAN:Lighting system made of LED modules with lifetime higher than 100 000 hours. • BREAKSCAN:Continuous high speed video recording of running web up to 1500m/min. • BREAKSCAN:Sequence of events, causes of web breaks, can be analyzed frame by frame.
