History Key Executives • Original was called Sam’s Tavern • First owner was Sam who change the name and named Sam’s Red Robin, due to the fact that he likes the song and keep singing “when the red robin goes bob, bob, bobbin’ along” • Founded in 1969 in Seattle, Washington • In 1969, a local Seattle entrepreneur brought the restaurant and expanded it. He dropped the word “Sam” and simply now called Red Robin Hoi Fung 1055-13
