  10. In applications for checks for the purpose of protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults a search for additional information will be conducted (Enhanced Check)

  11. If other relevant non conviction information and intelligence is found

  12. If other relevant non conviction information and intelligence is found The information will be assessed by Inspector i/c CRO to confirm relevance for disclosure

  13. Inspector i/c CRO will then forward papers to Detective Superintendent Criminal Justice Department for recommendation reference disclosure

  14. Inspector i/c CRO will then forward papers to Detective Superintendent Criminal Justice Department for recommendation reference disclosure Recommendation to Assistant Chief Constable Criminal Justice Department for decision on whether and what should be disclosed.

  15. Criminal Record along with other information deemed appropriate by ACC will be disclosed to relevant applicant

  16. Criminal Record along with other information deemed appropriate by ACC will be disclosed to relevant applicant Disclosure made formally in writing

  17. Police will not issue a recommendation in relation to employment!

  18. Police will keep a full record of the decision making process along with a copy of the disclosure.
