  2. HDL Stand for high-density lipoproteins Takes cholesterol out of the blood Also known as “good cholesterol” Healthy (H) LDL Stands for low-density lipoproteins The primary form found in the blood Also known as “bad cholesterol” Lousy (L) HDL and LDL
