  1. Learn How to Treat Migraine Pain At Home       The sedentary lifestyle has increased the number of people suffering from  migraines. Around one billion people globally are looking for ways to cure  it. Most of the time what works for one does not provide the same relief to  the other.  Moreover, the stay-at-home orders have increased the frequency of the  headache as people are stressed about the unprecedented timings. To  avoid taking the pain relief medication, most of them are turning to home  remedies.   Here’s a list of remedies that have proven to work for people and also  decrease the number of attacks from many times a week to some times a  month.  Take Vitamins  Migraine is caused by the deficiency of magnesium and B2. Including it in  the diet has reduced the frequency of the headache to once in three  months. Magnesium is found in green leafy vegetables and nuts, while  vitamin B2 is present in eggs, dairy, nuts, and fortified cereals. You can talk  to a doctor online to develop a treatment plan and to add nutrition  supplements in the diet.

  2. Exercise   A search conducted showed that any type of exercise can prevent  migraines. However, exercise doesn’t treat the migraine directly, it reduces  stress. The more you exercise, the happier and healthier you’re. It also  promotes sleep, which is tough when the migraine is triggered.   Sleep   People who don’t have a set sleeping pattern often get a migraine due to  poor night’s sleep. To avoid this, you need to set the time you wake up and  go to bed. And, if you are used to taking naps in the day, reduce their  duration. Longer naps interfere with your night’s sleep.   If you face difficulty in sleeping, include something relaxing in your routine  such as reading your favorite book or listening to soothing music. Avoid  taking caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol before going to bed.   Eat Wisely  Taking heavy meals before sleeping not only interferes with the sleep but  also leads to obesity. You should have your meals at the same time every  day and if you feel some food is triggering it, you should keep a food  journal to identify it. The common foods that trigger headaches are aged  cheese, chocolate, alcohol, and caffeine.   Massage  Massage on your neck and temples for a few minutes to ease a tension  headache. This will reduce stress and frequent migraine attacks. Regularly  doing it for a few minutes will get you back to your normal life.   Closing   Living with migraine pain is tough. Making some changes in your lifestyle  can lessen the frequency and duration of the pain. Identifying migraine  triggers is the best way to avoid these headaches.   Massage and proper sleep cycle reduces the intensity of the migraine  headaches and improves the pressure-pain threshold. If your migraine  attacks are getting more frequent, try Shiatsu. It has proved to be effective  for many and has a profound effect on the nervous system.
