Creating Classroom Games • In addition to displaying instructional information, another great use of PowerPoint is to play a classroom game. • Games turn learning into a fun activity.

Creating Classroom Games • Everyone is familiar with game shows. • How many game shows can you name?

Creating Classroom Games • Using PowerPoint, you could: • Search out background music from a game show to apply to the opening slides for effect. • Apply colors and add graphics to simulate/resemble a known game show. • Add sound effects (applause, happy, sad sounds). • Use custom animation, triggered animation, and/or action settings to make the game work.

Sound Effects • All game shows have sound effects. Let’s add cheers (applause) and jeers (boo’s) and other sound effects to the bottom of this slide.
