The Harbor SchoolTechnology Support Teacher (TST) TST Roles and Responsibilities • Organize Technology Committee Meetings • Manage hardware and software inventory • Provide MyBPS support and training • Support integration of technology into the curriculum • Support staff in updating on-line technology self assessment • Assist in planning and recruiting for school-wide technology professional development • Disseminate technology information • Support library/media center technology and staff • Provide BASIC troubleshooting of hardware and software • Facilitate calls to the BPS HELP desk • Serve as a liaison between school and: • Office of Instructional Technology (OIT) • Office of Information Services (OIS) • Center for Media Technology (CMT) • Access Technology Center (ATC) Mike Gavin If you have any technological issues please send an email to: Mgavin@boston.k12.ma.us OR Fill out a “Facilities Request”form and place it in my mailbox

Troubleshooting Process • Common Problems with Possible Solutions Proprietary to Boston Public School Employees • If you are still unable to resolve your issue please email Mr. Gavin (mgavin@boston.k12.ma.us) with the following information: • Brief Description of your issue • Room Number • Type of Equipment (Compaq, iMac, Lexmark, etc…) • PC/Monitor/Printer BPS Asset tag # • If you do not have access to email please fill out the information on the attached HelpTAG or Copy the information listed above on a slip of paper and place it into Mr. Gavin’s mailbox.

  12. My BPS MyBPS is the Boston Public School's intranet portal that provides teachers, administrators, principals, and staff with access to the essential, everyday information and resources they need to enhance teaching and learning across the district.
