VÍCTOR VASARELY(1908-1997) Pintor húngaro establecido en París, Vasarely recoge en su investigación el legado del constructivismo y de los grandes maestros de la Bauhaus. … Fue el principal teórico y líder del movimiento óptico/cinético. En la década de los años 50 inició la investigación óptica, fundamentando un alfabeto plástico basado en la variedad del juego de relaciones y tensiones internas de la obra.

  2. Vasarely sintió atracción por el estudio de la astronomía. Su pintura se basa en el rigor científico y combina las leyes de la física y el conocimiento de la geometría, junto a las cualidades perceptivas del color y su influencia en la percepción visual. … Sus imágenes ópticas se han convertido en parte de la cultura popular, insistiendo siempre en hacer un arte accesible a todo el mundo. Su lema era "Arte para todos".
