    16. Mission A CO Wildcat BN conducts M16A2 zero on 21OCT04 at 1300 HRS at Wasatch Shooters Association Range to train cadets on basic rifle marksmanship and prepare them for qualification.

    17. Training Objectives Task: Conduct M16A2 zero LLAB Conditions: During daylight hours under range officer supervision Standards: Successfully zero one M16A2

    18. Concept of Operation All participants will meet at the east side of the Dee Events Center in the parking lot on 21OCT04 NLT 1250 HRS for the M16A2 zero LLAB.

Risk Management Step 1: Identify Hazards: Dehydration, weapon malfunctions, unsafe weapon handling, civilians on a service road above the range Step 2: Assess Hazards: E H M L Step 3: Make Risk Assessment: Low Step 4: Implement Countermeasures: Water on site, SPORTS instruction, staying alert, range officers on site, combat lifesaver on site, contact with the local Sheriff

    22. Coordinating Instructions Uniform: BDUs, soft cap Equipment: LBE with gloves, two canteens, ruck with weather dependant gear, ballistic helmet Environmental Considerations: Possible cold or wet weather
