Good morning class! Today, we will dive into the world of data tables with a fun activity centered around your favorite candy bars. Start by taking out a loose-leaf paper, pencil, and calculator. We will review the density sample and the structure of data tables, then together we will create a data table based on class preferences. You will each create your own data table, showcasing your favorite candy bars, demonstrating your understanding of independent and dependent variables. Don’t forget to include a title and conclusion in your tables!

Guidelines of Data Tables • Independent variable is in the left column • Dependent variable where you measure the different trials are the next columns. • Calculated or average column is on the far right. • Rows are horizontal and columns are vertical
