  4. Safety and Behaviour • School Behaviour Policy applies. • Contract between parents and school. • Children abide by Centre rules. • Expectations will be high at all times.

  5. Risk Assessment • DfE and LA criteria followed – Evolve • Generic Risk Assessment by JCA • Governors oversight and approval • Insurance • Regular daily risk assessments by JCA staff

  6. Medical Arrangements • All medicines should be clearly labelled • Hand to Mrs Ashby on Monday morning • Clear instructions for use • Pain relief (if required) is provided by school - Calpol/Paracetamol/Nurofen • Asthma inhalers and Epi-pens must be with the children at all times.

  7. Responsibility and Independence • Being prepared for every activity • Drinks bottles, sun protection, hats and sun glasses • Wise spending of pocket money • Room inspections • Time keeping • Looking out for each other

Safety is our top priority We adhere strictly to the Activities Centre Advisory Committee (ACAC) Code of Practice We operate strictly within the Code of Practice laid down by the British Activities Holiday Association (BAHA) of which we are full members We are corporate members of the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) We are affiliated to the NAHT and our Operations Director is a full member of the Association of Heads of Outdoor Education Centres (AHOEC)

Mill Rythe Overview Lovely views across Chichester harbour, extensive grounds and superb facilities including heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools and sports field. This site offers a high standard of accommodation with excellent facilities, and a wonderful coastal walk around part of the harbour. With its myriad of activities and modern facilities this centre is an excellent choice.

  15. Let the adventure begin... Mill Rythe Accommodation JCA has exclusive use of this centre: • Well-appointed chalets • 1 to 2 bedrooms accommodating up to five persons • En-suite WC with shower or bath facilities • All chalets are heated
