Write This Down When multiplying a number by a factor (decimal) LESS than 1 the product (answer) will be LESS than the original number 4 x .5 = 2 When multiplying a number by a factor (decimal) GREATER than 1 the product (answer) will be GREATER than the original number 4 x 1.5 = 6
Write This Down When multiplying a number by a factor (decimal) EQUAL to 1the product (answer) will be EQUAL to the original number 4 X 1.0 = 4
