  1. Uniflair Smart Key pCO Manager

  2. Smart Key Smart key is an electronic device used to program and service pCO system or µC3 family controllers. Smart Key simplifies the transfer of data between pCO controllers and PC by exploiting the high capacity flash memory for storing software applications, Bios and variable logs.

  3. Hardware Features • Smart Key is the new programming key compatible with all pCO controllers (pCOXS, pCOC, pCO1, pCO2 and pCO3) • Connects to pCO‘s pLAN port • Battery is not needed. Power directly supplied by pCO controller or by PC (in the last case using USB adapter) • MicroProcessor based

Software Features • Different operating modes, configurable via PC as: • uploading only • downloading only • historical data only • a mix of the above • Possibility to store multiple applications (pLAN applications or multiple singles) • Automatic download to controller at pLAN address recognition • Upload / download password protected

  5. pLAN serial port connection Smart Key is compatible with all pCO controllers The connection is easy and fast: the smart key must be connected only through a telephonic without any kind of others connections.

  7. pCO Manager • pCO Manager is a tool created to transfer data between the computer to the Smart Key and directly to the pCO motherboards • pCO Manager is composed of 2 sub-programs: Winload SmartKey programmer

Winload • WinLoad32 is the software for PC that manages communication between the PC and the pCO Sistema family controllers • (pCO3, pCO2, pCO1, pCO1XS, pCOC). • The following operations can be performed using this software: • - Updating the firmware and the software of the controller; • Acquiring data from the board, such as the configuration parameters and the • data logged; • - Define the logic for logging the events saved on the board.

Smart Key Programmer • Smart Key programmer is a software that permits the complete management of the key. • Through this program it is possible to: • Protect the key from not requested uses through a password • Transfer the software from the computer to the key • Transfer the software from the key to the computer • Download the historical events from the pCO motherboard to the key.

  13. What I need if…. I WANT TO TRANSFER FILES FROM THE COMPUTER TO THE SMARTKEY In order to permit the transfer of the data from the computer to the Smartkey, it is necessary to use the Smartkey usb converter (the white one). Through this converter the key will take the supply from the computer. When the leds of this converter will start blinking, it means that the connection is ok. If it’s the first time the converter is used, the drivers are mandatory and must be installed once connected the converter. It’s important selecting the correct serial port, otherwise the connection won’t start. Smart key has a sufficient memory, able to store a kit with a lot of languages, but it can save only one kit per time.

  14. What I need if…. I WANT TO TRANSFER FILES FROM THE COMPUTER TO THE pCO In order to permit the transfer of the data from the computer to the Smartkey, what is needed is only the USB convert. This converter permits permits the connection between USB and RS485. If it’s the first time the converter is used, the drivers are mandatory and must be installed once connected the converter. It’s important selecting the correct serial port, otherwise the connection won’t start. If there is the need to upload also the bios, it is important to install as first the bios, and then the application files.
