  2. What is the Trainee Support Service? Replaces House Concern Funding provided by HENE Contract provided by CDDFT Established November 2011 Educational route and OH route Contracted to provide support to 50 Specialty Trainees per annum 280 referrals to date Bespoke service

  11. So what can the TSS do? Initial 1:1 meeting (whether Management referral or Self referral) ALWAYS an underlying issue Counselling – PTSD/work-related stress/domestic stress/bereavement CBT – NOT JUST FOR ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION ! Time Management/WorkLife Balance workshop Assertive Communication and Cultural Influences workshop (small group) Reflective Practice workshop (small group) (but consider HENE course) TEFL Other bespoke interventions

  12. OH - What support will can we provide? Occupational Health The occupational health service provide: Work Health Assessment (pre-employment) Ill health/absence from work (Acute Trust vs GP Surgery) Immunisations Health Surveillance Specialist Psychotherapy Service
