Introduction • The show began in 13th August, 1997. • The makers of South park are Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Anne Garefino. • Trey Parker And Matt Stone do the voices of all 4 main characters, Brian Gradenbeing the developer and Mona Marshall and April Stewart who do most of the female voices. • We selected south park because it’s a good show and well known

Results of primary research • We made a survey on who liked the TV show and who didn’t, we asked 14 people overall this was primary research because we did the research and didn’t use someone else’s. The type of research we got was quantitative which is numbers. • Our results we not that reliable because they all came from the same age group and not from a variety • 79% of people liked the show, and the other 21% did not. • We asked students from 16-19, both male and female. • We found that the most popular character on south park was Eric Cartman

Results of secondary research • Barb stands for Broadcasters audience research bureau, it is the company that records all the viewings for television shows. • Viewing figures of the first episode were 980,000 • Series 10, episode 1 had 3.5 million viewers. • Series 17 (newest) episode 1 had 4.3 million viewing.

  5. Average south park audience Age- 17 because hes unemployed and has nothing better to do then stay up late and watch it. Male because its dark humour and men are more likely to find it funny British Straight
